WAIVER OF TUITION FEES
The first aid for work-study is the exemption from tuition fees thanks to the contract. The agreement can be a professionalization contract or an apprenticeship contract.

PERSONALIZED HOUSING ASSISTANCE
Apprentice tenants benefit from APL (Personalised Housing Assistance). It is the Caf (or Caisse d’Allocations Familiales) that pays this aid. Several criteria are studied before the allocation of the APL. The description of the dwelling, the rent excluding charges, the situation (tenant or not) make it possible to determine the amount of the APL. The professional situation as well as the income also contribute to the determination of the aid. How do I get this allowance? All you have to do is complete the status and income file. The request must be sent to the Caf. An online application is also possible.

MOBILI-JEUNE HELP
Apart from the APL, the State also grants mobili-jeune housing assistance. This allowance cannot exceed 100 euros monthly and does not go below 10 euros. Rent, salary and the amount of APL or ASL received are taken into account when calculating this type of assistance. The mobili-jeune aid concerns apprentices from non-agricultural private companies. It concerns young people hired under an apprenticeship or professionalization contract. This aid must be requested during the first semester of the training.

THE LOCA-PASS ADVANCE
This is a loan to pay the security deposit required by the lessor. Young people under the age of 30, hired on a work-study program in the private sector can benefit from this loan. There are no application fees to pay. Loan recipients are interest free. This therefore facilitates the search for accommodation for apprentice tenants.

MOBILI-PASS HELP
This is funding for the search for accommodation and settling in for apprentices in a situation of professional mobility (transfer, recruitment, etc.) involving changing their main residence or having a second one.
The journey must be > 70 km or more than 1 hour 15 minutes.
The grant can reach €2,200.

AID FOR APPRENTICES THANKS TO THE NATIONAL APPRENTICES CARD
Work-study apprentices have a trades student card. Various fare reductions are granted through this card. The apprentice benefits from discounts on transport costs, fast food and sports and cultural activities. The card also grants access to university accommodation and restaurants.
From the first month of training, the apprentice has the trades student card, which can be used in all regions of France.

THE ADVANTAGES PROVIDED BY THE COMPANY
Apprentices who are in a company with a CSE (Social and Economic Committee) can benefit from the advantages in the same way as other employees. This includes gift vouchers or holiday vouchers, restaurant tickets, transport card, etc. Allowances depend on the size of the business. So you have to inquire with the committee.

FINANCING OF THE DRIVING LICENSE B
Adult apprentices can benefit from state aid to finance their driving license B. under the following conditions:

• be at least 18 years old;
• hold a current apprenticeship contract;
• be engaged in a course to obtain the B permit.

REGIONAL APPRENTICE SOCIAL FUND
